I`ve often read or heard that you scould/should learn trick songs. How do you do this? You can`t learn all of them, what are the songs you listen to to learn?

I`ve often read or heard that you scould/should learn trick songs. How do you do this? You can`t learn all of them, what are the songs you listen to to learn?

What you should do is pay attention to the contest songs for every category. Sometimes you'll notice that the trick songs will be repeated the next year in a different category sung by a different drum group or sometimes in the future at another powwow. You should also pay attention to the Southern ruffle songs because fancy shawl dancers should be ready for anything.
