I think of the ladies who inspired me when I was in teens. I believe all good ladies fancy shawl dancers have to have SPEED, footwork, while maintaining grace in all the steps and movement of their shawl. The dancers I think of are:
Dennetta (used to be Ewalk)
Laverna Thompson
I think they didn't get the recognition they truely did deserve.

Fave Fancy Shawl Dancer

Gracie Her Many Horses is probably the best, I saw a pow-wow video of her dancing to a trick song over in SD some years ago, and she just tore it up!! She's the best, her style, her grace, her moves, she's the ULTIMATE!! Yah-hooo!! Go Gracie Go!! :)
