I would like your input on this matter! I was at a powwow this past sat. I'm not going to say what one. But I was not a the gathering.:( The Mc of this powwow walked up to a friend of mine and said she was not welcome to dance anymore because she is a contest Fancy Shawl Dancer. And told her she does not know how to dance because "Fancy Dancers never wear bright colors or Dance backwards. And they dont spin so much." She was the best dancer there!! But after she cried in the bathroom for an hour after she changed, she was taking it pretty well but I am still upset.
I have never heard of this. Oh, this was not a contest powwow or a traditional one.

aw muh god i don't even know what to say on that one... sounds pretty frickin outrageous to me & who the heck did the mc think he was or saying that anyways???? ever sick... huh i'mma go be mad for a while now....
