New Dancer

Hello ladies, my name is Desiree. I used to dance jingle when I was smaller. Im 18 now. Right now I just want to get back into the swing of things and I think that dancing fancy would be so much better for me. I want to get a really nice dress made for me, and would like some advice. Im probably going to be at the southern cali indian center powwow in Aug. I really want to dance in the powwow, but the lady that might make my dress said she wouldnt be done till Dec'. Does any one know who else makes dresses?

also just any advice on starting out would be really appreciated. thank you so much.
