neon colors?

ok,now i know that most girls like neon colors because they look good,but ladies please.i do jingle & fancy.my outfit i wear most is yellow,green,blue,white,& gold.its pretty even though it has only 1 bright color.what do you guys think on these neon colors?lets set a new trend other than neon!;) :Angel2

Way too much neon anymore! Some of it is just plain ugly!! Especially a whole outfit, or a large piece like the skirt or shawl. I saw one girl who used construction worker orange!! I thought there had been an accident or something!:Chatter Please stop the neon!! You can be flashy without it!

One of these days, powwows are going to be proclaimed health hazards to people with epilepsy because the way style is going, it's going to be neon AND flashing lightbulbs in a few years. *lol*

I'm all for seeing new ideas besides the neon. Hey, you know what would stand out in a bunch of neon? Something with a LOT of black. :)

I will run down to the nearest store when they put the Xmas decor out and by a string of them battery operated xmas lightbulbs and wrap it around my head and the end of my shawl. Give them neon glow worms some flashy competetion. Brake them shades out people.

Hey that's one of my outfits!! Actually the one in my avatar. My skirt and shawl are black with ribbonwork. My beadwork is cutglass red, white, and silver. I've had alot of people tell me how it really stands out at night!

my daughter who is nine and is starting to fancy shawl, walked into the fabric store, saw all the neon colors and told the the lady--i cant wear these colors because my gramma would fall over dead!! even she knows...actually what she knows is that we talk to the women above us to see what is acceptable and my mom would rather go naked than were neon!! my grams too. they keep us super old school which when i was younger i didnt appreciate but i do now. i admit i have seen some beautiful outfits that are bright but my favorites are those that are classy and focused. what is it this year with the 20 different colors on the back of every fancy shawl???

I like to use neon colors when i make my daughters outfits, but only enough color to catch the judges eye. I don't want them to watch her shawl/dress through the whole song and miss seeing her footwork. Your outfit shouldnt overpower the beadwork.

I use the neon colors....only in moderation though.

I agree with the previous post. I have seen some really nice outifts with neon in it or as a base color.
Then again I have seen some people go way way over board and make every little thing on their outfit be neon.

I think it just depends on how you use it. I like to use it for a base color or to add flair to a design but not to EVERYTHING!

GAW, next thing you know, some of these gilrs will be wearing neon bloomers to catch the judges eye!
