  • Ready-made sequined material, yes or no?

I've seen this material in several outfits in the photo galleries, but only a few on the local circuit. What's your opinion...do you think it's cool, glitzy, attractive...or do you think it's the easy way out, maybe even tacky? I have my own reservations, but I want to see your opinions...I tired to start a poll but I can't figure it out...if anybody wants to fill me in, I'd be grateful :-)

I used the ready made sequin material in solid red and blue. I used it for a little bit of appliqué, the sleeves of my blouse and my scarf.

Although, I find that the neon/mulitcolored sequin material looks somewhat gaudy and tacky. Especially when it takes up most of the outif. (ie--shawl, skirt). But for piecework, I find that deep solid colors look really nice.
    Got percap?
