Okay, I guess this is due to my laziness when it comes to wrapping my ankles at certain small pow wows. But, I have a broken bone in my foot from my ankle turning over when I was being lazy. Now, gals I don't want sympathy. I would like a little advice. anybody ever had something similar happen? if so, how long should I expect to hang up my shawl for? thanks ya muches!

That happened to me once when I was 13. I stayed off my ankle for 2-3 months, but I babied it. I wrapped it any time I was on my feet longer than 1 hour. But luckly I was young and my bones healed faster, now I think I would be out for at least 5 months just to make sure that I would not make it worse.

I also dilocated my knee cap...talk about pain...ouch!!! I was not dancing fancy for 6 months, talk about bummer.....but I am dancing fancy again, but it is not the same I have to keep a brace on it EVERY time I dance. Which I don't have to, but it is just in case, cause it is easy to flare up an old injury.

Everyone heals in their own time and only start dancing again whenyou are ready. Hope you have a speedy recovery!!!

You've been waiting a long time for me to finally bead for you:p Oh yeah back to the subject what did Josh do to you? :Naughty J/K:p Milk it for all it's worth. My hubby sprangd his ankle really bad this past summer. He has to be careful with it. So use good judgement.
