  • Tramps on the Trail!!!!!

Actually, I'm not even going to go there but I got your attention, didn't I!!!!!
So what are some the best expierences you have had since dancing? Like snag wise- or did you finally beat someone you have been trying to beat for awhile now.
Or did you work really hard on an outfit and people complimented you everywhere you went?
For me, I didn't get to go anywhere but here at home this year but my best expierence so far was watching my baby boy get out there and dance!
You mom's out there know what I am talking about!! When your little baby gets out there in their first outfit and stomps their foot to the drum and spin around till they fall down and then get up and clap their hands because they think they have done the best thing ever. And your are so proud your eyes start watering and you think that your child is just the most amazing thing ever created. Excuse I can't see, my eyes have sprung a leak!!!
    sniff, smile sniff

Well let me here from ya!!!:Chatter

I thought you were going to balst people. Your getting tooo nice with the new baby on the way. better stop that.
I guess that over the years, being able to stay friends with people I've meet going to pow wows, not see them for a while, then see them again and it's like no time has gone by. Like when you were 11 then all of a suddden your 20(uh fancystar?)
    Well will wonders never cease.....

GIRRRRRRRLLLLL! Ooh you better be glad I didn't pull out the Boots. I'm kidding.

I will however pick on my lil sister though, even though I said what I said in the "Future of Fancy Shawl".

Being pregnant hasn't made her nice! She's obnoxious. The only time she will get nice is when she is in labor asking us all if we're ready cuz she is going to push! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE.

Seeing my friends I haven't seen in a long time.
      Get up and get out!

but you're right tooter, she does let everyone join in pushing
        Well will wonders never cease.....

hi. :) I think my best powwow experience is hangin out w/ the powwow posse until the wee hours of the morning when even the 49er's have gone to sleep!! hehehe!!! :D :p Talk about fun! Having to get up in time for grand entry isn't too fun though...ugh. But it's all worth it! hehe!
          Anyone else??? :)

Excuse me you two!! This is about good things at pow-wow's not my pregnancy and how it affects my attitude. And let's not even go there with your two baby popping out selves!!!!

Seriuosly, or however you spell it!!! Right now I would just be happy getting to a good pow-wow with my royal roundness!!!
I mean a good one, not a hobbiest pow-wow!!! Just sit there, eat frybread, drink lemonade, and visit with friends and scopeout the latest trends. Check out the pow-wow QT's,watch contesting, and laugh at my friends when they miss their stop and snicker at all blonde hair blue eyed cherokee princess descendents!!!

            Ahh, to be there again!!!

But if I remember your picture Pricess Dawn Star...... you've no room to talk....
And if you remember you do become nice when pregnant and pushing...
then after nine months your yourself again

                    Fancy Shawl

I know what you mean about tears welling up FancyStar. My baby is 16 and danced in the Sr. Girls for the first time this week-end. She danced her little heart out against Jingle Dress (there werent enough dancers so they combined it). We were prepared for the worst, gave the just do your best speech, lol. These girls are VERY good, have held titles and have traveled the circuit alot. Anyway, my daughter took 1st! I was so excited and proud of her, I choked on my lulu, ROFL. My adopted daughter who is also fancy shawl, shall i say lacks self confidence. She went in after my daughters begged her to enter. She took 3rd! I thought she was going to pee in her pants when they called her, lol. She thought they were calling my oldest daughters number and kept trying to push her out there. I got pictures of the whole thing so hopefully they'll turn out. Oh yeah and in regards to the blond haired blue eyed Indian comment......My youngest is dirty blond and blue eyed, but my oldest daughter is dark haired and her eyes change, they are both from the same father, not full blood physically, but trust me they're all Native hearted!

Well I'd have to say the best part of the pow wow trail for me Is catching up with my friends.. Or going to a pow wow with my friends.. Those are the best times... We laugh we cry and we hug LOL (jokes, except for the laughing part) :1Party:
I also like to just see all the ndn's there, just seeing them all there just brings me nothing but hapiness. Not to mention getting noticed by some good lookin dancer... :dancer: :p :Chatter Plus getting good good good songs, crowhops, fast and fancy, and southern style :D And just listening to all the good drummers and singers.

                      (Mr. C.C.T :mrcool: :2: ) :6: :Chatter
