I'm curious to know just how well you like to dance? Honestly i love to dance. I'll dance any where. If i don't win in an contest i'm not all depressed about it. I'm just happy that i danced. would you guys ever quit dancing because someone told you that you can't dance for beans? i would straight up tell them no. what would you say?

:rofl2: yeppers! I don't dance contest so I don't expect anyone to comment on my dancing ability, capability, or lack thereof! And if they did, I'd feel real sorry for their azzes, put some asema down (asking for the patience not to bytch slapp'em) and remind them why they are here in the circle in the first place!

When I get a sip of water between songs my sister told me "hey, have fun" and this is what I do.. dancing should be fun. This lady sittin on the sidelines said "that's some good advice" and a agree.. i was always told to just have fun.
No need to listen to anyone if they say anything negative about you cause you know what.. as long as you're on top there is always someone gonna be there to try to push you down.. and its true.. its not worth your time..so keep your head up and have fun!! :D ~*~SY~*~

the #1 reason i dance is b/c i WANT to.i have been taught that way & i want to keep my ppl's traditions alive & im proud of who i am.I like showing little kids that dont know alot about native ppl & dancing,well i like showing them what us n8ive ppl are all about & even the ppl that come to watch us dance,i like showing them n8ive ppl are still around & we are proud of our heritage.
but i have so much fun dancing & i would NEVER,NEVER,NEVER stop dancing just b/c some 1 said i couldnt dance or whatever they said.

i dance because i love meeting people... over the 8 years that i have danced i have met lots of people... and i am still meeting them as they come along....its a good way to stay sober too.... i respect the older traditions....no one should ever drink and try to pow-wow at the same time.

I dance because i love to, and i have tons of fun. *sigh* I dont know what i would do with myself if i didnt dance pow-wow? gee...i think i'd be a pretty dull person. I go to pow-wows all over just to go. I dont expect to win in contests or to take everything i ever enter. All i want to do is to keep it fun, and show other people that being at the arena is fun....:)

I dance because I know I could handle it...and never mind them, cause if they told me that they just be talking about them selves cause they ain't doing it or they just jealous of those who are dancing and doing their best...and no I wouldn't quit cause someone said I sucked.

well my answer is the same like most of the other gurls here....i love to dance because it makes me feel good. :rainbw: in my view nothin is better then than havin a good drum song and jus jammin out. :indian1: :1Party:
yup can't get ne better then that....it's great....the drums, the dancers....i think i'm gonna cry...lol...but yeah i jus pretty much dance b/c it feels rite to me. but if sum one told me that i had no chance of ever placin out there when i dance or that i had no dance skill at all well then i think i would tell them to shove it and walk away...the person has no rite to tell me i have no dance skill especially if they ain't out there themselves.
