        I do

Me and my man are dance instructors for SCIC dance workshop. From young to old, it doesn't matter. I know what you mean about the Cali scene. It's not what you know, but who you know sometimes. Don't give up, we all have to start from somewhere.:p

                  i only help...

i helped my younger niece for a bit of steps which helped her get princess on my reserve...shes giving up her crown next weekend... and i have to help with her speech and giveaway. but that is about it...the last person i helped learn how to dance ended up not even thanking me in the end for all her accomplishments.

It wasn't with shawl steps, but I helped some newbies out. They were doing funky steps before they joined the drum I sing with. Now they are just about there with traditional steps. (They just need to develop more of a flow to their steps.)
