Just wanted to let everyone know that my sister and I .......GOT OUR NEW DRESSES!!!! LOL Sorry, I'm just excited. The woman Tess Lone Elk mentioned on here in a post a while back, whom she bought the dresses from, on the Six Nations Reserve in Ontario, Canada is the one who made our dresses. She did an awesome job on them and I just wanted to let everyone on here know. :Party

Thanks guyz for the responses! I tried posting the pics in the gallery, but the dang pc kept messing up. Maybe cause of the size of the pics. So, I tried resizing them and and sending them and that didn't work darnit! But when my sister and I start dancing again, I'm going to take pics and scan them and post them on here to show everyone. Oh yeah......not to change the subject but....I start my freshman yr of college at the University of Southern Mississippi next month! Its an hour and a half away from home. I'm coming home on the weekend. *L*V.W

vickies dress
I am the mystery lady from Six Nations who made the dresses. I too have pics of the dresses which are too large to put in the gallery. How the heck do you make them small enough? I have them on floppy. I also have pics of my grand daughters jingle oufit with rose design and matching fully beaded leggins and mocs, also too large . I have two kids outfits for sale, fancy shawl in greens and browns, fully lined shawl, fits about six to eight years old, Junior grass blues and purples./ no leggins.
Hope to see you at Grand River pow wow!chemika

LOL Chemika, I actually resized those darn pics and they still didnt work. But again, thanks! I will mail u pics when we start dancing again. They look really good!
Thanks Jim! I feel more safe w/ the dress put away somewhere other than a dorm room. I have a box also w/ all my accessories in it, plus those fully beaded moccs coming in soon. I'm only bringing 1 dress up there. My other 3 I'm gonna keep here cause I don't dance in them anymore. Noooo I want go home every weekend. That will be cool to hang out w/ ya. I'm mailing out the letter to R.M tomorrow by the way. Maybe we can travel to powwows as a group on the weekend when they come around....in Louisiana and Mississippi, or heck, anywhere we wanna go.
Oh yeah, just to let everyone know, Jim is a friend of mine that I been knowing for a while now. He's from Louisiana also! I'm going to the same college that he goes to. I'm a new member of the organization he is president of on the USM campus called Golden Eagles Intertribal Society!V.W

by rodondhelp making my daughter a new dresshow is the best way to put the jingle on ? Do you sew the bias tape on and put the jingles on last or put the bias tape on with the jingles already on
