How the heck does a Jingle Dress Dancer Sit without Hurting the Jingles ?

I sit on the the edge of my folding chair, in between lines of jingles. If i want to sit for any length of time i just get undress'd i was taught that its really disrespectfull to hike ur dress up to sit down, even if you are wearing shorts.

You make a matching under skirt. That way you pull the outer skirt up with the jingles, and just leave the inner skirt down to sit on.

I made my daughters dress with an underskirt so that she may slide up the outer skirt with all the jingles to be able to sit freely without harm to any of them. just an idea

i think that girls should have a underskirt..i know that i make my dress with the underskirt...it is easier to sit and not have to worry about sitting on my jingles..(ouch!!)

I believe the stamina and endurance a Jingle Dress Dancer has to have, they could probably stand for days w/o resting.
