Beth, I saw a friend's copy of the latest issue of Whispering Wind & like the idea of wearing a fully beaded short vest with the dress. There's a picture in the Gathering of Nations site (the gallery for this year's powwow) in which someone is wearing a fully beaded vest with her dress.

I saw another picture like this in another issue of Whispering Wind. This looks like something I may be trying out in the near future (along with getting myself in better shape, so I can dance jingle again.....I got really lazy and am paying for it now.)
