depends on what i am manking. blouses, silks are great to work with. but i love cotton to work with, very durable and puts up with a lot. denim and satin are thing i don't working with.

Are you asking specifically about jingle dresses? Well, I love anything unusual. I often combine different fabrics in one dress. Like a cotton dress might have a satin yoke and underskirt. I like the higher quality bridal satins but turn my nose up at the cheaper, thinner satins. Cotton is great as it comes in so many colors/patterns. It's breathable and durable. Taffeta I like for applique and ribbonwork. There are other synthetics that are fantastic just because they are one-of-a-kind.
