Calling All Jingle Dress Dancers - Healing -

I thought I'd open up this board for all Jingle Dress dancers to post our special prayers here. This is what our dresses are about. Healing, and thoughtfulness.

There is a fellow Jingle Dress dancer and her son who is in need of prayers. We, as Jingle Dress dancers should come here and post our prayers. Bring our minds together as one mind and remember to pray for her and her son when you dance at your next powwow or ceremony. As you begin to dance, ask the Creator to look down at them both and pray for their recovery, give them strength, healings, guidance and love.

Originally I sent a private pm to Ojibwaysweetie on 6/16/07 and it was suggested I post here as well. Thank you Ojibwaysweetie. My prayers are still there. Here's my message"I wanted to thank you for this post. It has touched me so much to see that there are people in this world who care for others. I remember hearing it said one time that we are a "praying people", and that is so true. While I am not a jingle dress dancer, but southern straight, your message just touched my heart this morning, and I wanted you to know. Thank you again for making this post."

Those of you that know the words of prayer please pray for my niece. She's strung out on drugs pretty bad. She just stole a bunch of stuff, pawned it, took the money and ran. The thing is she has a three year old (that she just left after exposing him to her "lifestyle") being raised by the grandparents (my sister and B-I-L) and they're stretched to the limit with everything else. She also stole his child support check and hauled tail. My sister's heart is hurting pretty bad. Please hold them all in prayer.

Can someone put a sticky here? If I knew how to do it, I would. This Jingle Dress prayer thread gets lost in the compage. To me, its an important post here in this forum.
