This would be a great tutorial with photos attach
Originally posted by they_drag_him View PostIf you have your plumes already. This is what you do. Get a piece of hanger and bend it into a "U" shape. Get your plumes and fix their direction and how you want them to show. You can use two or more plumes for each end of the "U" shape hangar. Use thread and white electrical tape to keep them attached to the hanger then use crazy glue. That's it, there you have it, now just clip a barrett and you're off and running. Remember to be generous with the wrapping of the plumes, use a good amount of thread, tape and glue.

walela49 is amazing when it comes to plumes for biginners, and no jingly women didnt traditionaly wear plumes until the pan indiginous surge, but side plumes are considered feminine and from what i was taught its for when you recieve your name on your naming day its represents gods breath...so take care of your plumes...and a straight feather is for warrior women or married women...again thats just what i was taught :D straight up on the right is your a young woman and not looking for a mate lol on the left your single and ready to mingle, in the middle your not telling lmao again this is what i was told when i was growing up...Last edited by native_flutterby; 03-02-2010, 11:58 AM.There can only be 2 moccasins on your feet at one time...however life has given me many pair...along with a needle, thread and really sharp teeth to cut with...lmao
