beaded or ribbon work

I am getting back into dancing and want to know which is more popular these days. Beaded or Ribbon work leggings

personally i like ribbon work.i guess you just go w/whatever you like better.or make a pair of both so you can switch off.

Go with Beadwork if you are serious about dancing and will be competing.

beaded is always better i think but it can take a long time so theres nothing wrong with doing ribbon work. it allows you to have lots of different complete outfits until you get your beadwork done. and personally, i've seen alot of beadwork lately that looks like people rushed through it which seems like a waste of time and money--if you're going to put the effort into something that important, make it beautiful. good luck!!

I have a few sets of ribbon/applique work leggings and mocs and they serve good purpose for in between times while beading is getting done. The applique/ribbon work look just like beadwork. Lighter too. :D
