This year was my daughter's first year as a jingle dancer (and the last one for being a tiny tot). Definatly make your daughter's first dress (she'll appriciate it later on) and its fairly easy to do. As far as jingles, go with the child size jingles. My girl is really, really, really tall for her age. So I put on 4 rows for her. For your daughter, it all depends on the size of the dress. Many 4 year olds just need 2 rows. You want to make sure the dress is comfortable for her, and easy for you to take care of. Make sure you make a slip and teach her to lift her skirt to sit (as to not to ruin the jingles). Post if you have more questions. :)

for a small girls jingle dress it doesnt matter because if ya put on too much they can weigh a ton....the way i was taught how to construct a jingle dress my mama helped me make it...she helped me roll the snuff lids and told me what to do....well its the only way she'll learn...ya have to guide her through the whole entire thing.. but for how many jingles if ya want 5 rows i would use small...the small kiddy kind are better for her...what i would do is start off with 3 rows and have her try it on to see if its too heavy and then every row after that keep doing the same thing...its the only way ya can find out whats too heavy and whats not..-becca
