ive been making jingle dresses for a couple of years now and a couple of people i know want me to make dresses for them...i dunno how much to charge...my dresses have a lot of sewing n applicae but they also have a lot a cones...i know that making a jingle dress is hard work...i just want to know what a good price would be...i dont want to rip anyone off by charging too much...but i also dont want to get ripped off....

hmmmm thats a good question...it all depends on how much work is being put into each jingle dress and price of jingles...this is how i would think one would go about it...make a list of all items needed and go to the cheapest place to get this...price them and then add work into the cost and shipping and then ya should have yar answer...if they want beadwork in the regailia i would charge extra...and make sure before ya shake hands on the deal to let them know how long approx. that it might take to get done...be sure to charge less for elderly and children...elderly because they are on fixed income and they maybe on their own with bills and stuff like that...for a woman jingle dress i would charge anywhere from 300 to 400 but not over 400...if they want to applique done then charge like 25 bucks less...a childs dress i would chrge about 175 to 200-becca

i wouldnt know how much i'd charge either .:dontknow: . someone told me to charge 2 or 3 times the amount of how much you spent on the materials for the dress so - i dunno
yep, make sure first, my cousin ordered a dress for his daughter from someone a couple of years ago, paid her in advance and he hasnt seen ANYthing yet.. thas messed up

wen i make my jingle dresses i usually charge how many jingles i use.. count then and charge how much of them
i use to go on how much the material and jingles cost but i guess i got tired by that and took up my grams prices and went by above^^^~* wen u were born u were born cryin while everyone round u was smilin now that u r gone u r the one smilin and everyone round u is cryin*~

i never thought of doing it that way...thats a really good way of doing it...i might try this ways but add like 25 or 50 bucks extra..u know kinda like a labor price....lol..well thanks guys...i already got one dress 1/2 way done...bout to start on some other stuff

by DawnissI recently started to make a jingle dress and I was told that a jingle dress should have 7 rows of jingles on it and i was also told that it doesn't matter how many rows there are as long as you have 366 jingles on your dress... can someone help me?
