i'm finishing up my second daughter's new stuff - and sitting around thinking of a new design for my oldest daughters stuff. i have my hubby's new stuff in my head and just waiting for my sister to put together (sew) his cuffs, armbands, etc....actually i should call her to remind her...

After reading this, I didn't do either of the things that I had planned on - the hummingbird hairties, and the florescent grass dance outfit. Although both are on the back burner.

But anyway, I'm starting a jingle dress for my granddaughter, and a teen size to sell.

Im working on a full Southern beadwork set. I stopped counting at 40 pieces. Im useing size 14 hex for teh larger pieces and size 13 cuts for the smaller pieces like teh Jewlery and such. I just finnished two beaded buffalo skulls with a medicine wheel in the middle for some moc's. My oldest boys out grew their grass outfits so im getting the materials rounded up to make them new ones, one boy wants buffalo skulls with black tip'd feathers and the other son wants a geometric desigs with a Spongebob in teh middle. My youngest still fits his but has said he wants spiderman lol. Oh and a friend of mines daughter lost a hair tie from a set I made for her and I said I would make her a new one. Im sure there's more this is all that comes to mind as of now.

Like most of you, this year is half gone, and I am always behind. That list never seems to get short but more added as time goes by. So far this year I have completed a set of dance bells, 3 tail sticks, scalplock, and beaded rosettes for bandoleers, finished up on a crown. Still have alot to do. My list at present are 2 more tail sticks, rosettes for a otter cap, a fan, a medallion, a straight dance set of medallions for a dragger, beaded strips, and the list seems to go on. Golly, don't think I'll get anything done for myself this year or get caught up.

I just sewed some stuff but I'm working on some new Otoe mocs, this skirt i'm beading on and then hope to get a vest edge beaded.

Dang! - 40 pieces...My hands would be hurtin by then...

Right now I'm working on a fancy shawl outfit for my 5-year-old. I made the dress today and had my first experience with cloth applique (got it lookin OK on the 2nd try). Still have to do the yoke and the leggings. I was going to just applique her existing shawl as it coordinates in color with what I bought for the new dress, but I overbought dress material by a long shot and I'm thinkin I might make her a new shawl, too. Her other one is kind of short, and she's been pretty rough on the ribbons. Some of them were going to have to be replaced anyway...

Then, I just have 2 more fancy shawl outfits and a new Southern cloth dress for me, a breastplate, 4 pairs of moccasins, some hair ties and barrettes... I'm going to be busy for a while...

i havent been working on a derned thing, everything is still packed, which is a good thing. we just bought a house (yes, the financing went through,weve signed the last papers before closing and the house is ours!) theres a 4 car garage,2 wide and 2 deep, and i get the back half to wall off and set up shop. im thinking two rooms, one side for flute making and the other to be kept saw dust free for the beading and quill work. catch me in the fall, i should have something going by then.

Well I sure had a good post written and it went "poof".

But anyway I am working on the leggings to match the fancy shawl yoke I recently completed. I got the beadwork done for the yoke but we did not get the rest of the outfit completed. This time the horses on the leggings are raring to go. I started back today after a layoff for no apparent reason.

Another one of the girls had her tonsils out last week so we are not traveling for another week. Happy beading
