Then anyone interested can post an estimate, so you'll have a range of prices as a guideline.

OK First entry

Actually this already sold but thought I'd post it to get some price ranges and see how close your estimates are to how much it sold for.
Size 11 beads btw.

That is just TOO COOL!! It's a unique item, with impecable beading. The size of bead fits the item. The fringe is GREAT! Drop Gourd stitch takes FOREVER.

I'm guessing it's a standard size hammer. This would make a great gift for the carpenter or contractor in your life. I can just see it hanging in someone's office.

I'm thinking of a range between $100 and $200, maybe $250.

Let's get some more estimates before you tell us how much it actually went for.

(Wow, does this have a slight ring of Antique Roadshow? I'll have to watch that more often for tips...ayes)

I have to admit my mom made this. She got an order to do several, but this is the only one I have a really clear picture of. I'll try and get some of her other ones to post. The fringe is hand rolled. She'll be so thrilled to get compliments on her work. She's always so self-conscious of her beading. Here's a guitar strap that was beaded for a Cherokee Preacher the words say YO-NA, his name in Cherokee and he wanted a cross on it. Again, size 11's The strap was given to me and I had to figure out a way to bead it. I thought of loom beading but I didn't think the words would come out. So, I did my best. I'm not nearly as good as my mom is.

OK here's another project. It's a pair of Cherokee center-seam, pucker toe moccasins for a boy about 9 years old. Made from German Tanned buckskin with a beaded medallion on the toe.

I like that! I make guitar straps and I've been wanting to bead one, I just haven't thought of a design yet. Most of the ones I've made have been military themed using real military surplus fabric and patches.

Cool design, and on a Fender guitar strap, no less. The originality is great, and the beadwork looks nice.

You know, that's the first pair of pucker toe moccasins I've ever seen....but I don't get out much.

The German tanned buckskin seems very nice, and the beadwork is nicelyl done. The applique is set into the moc very well...you'd think it was beaded right on the buckskin if there was no center seam.

I think a plain buckskin pair of mocs should go for $100, and then any beading just adds to it.

These should go for $150 - $175...my best guess anyway.

Anybody else have a price estimate??

I don't know what to say about the strap and the hammer. As for price I'd say it's worth at least 4 chickens and a half pound of comodity cheese.

Nice shoes! My daughter was beading baby shoes for awhile and getting $40. I'm betting yours went for $200.

OK everybody, go ahead and post how much you actually sold them for (if you want to reveal) cuz we're not getting as many estimates as I though.

And if not, that's ok too. This is just an ESTIMATION thread. (Hmmm...how to get peeps to post an estimate? Give away points? Guaranteed rep?)

Shoes sold for $280.

As far as estimates go, I have a very simple format for loom beadwork. $2.5 per suare inch. That is for 11/o beads. Mounting a belt is $45. That encompases most of my work.

OK sorry it has taken me so long to get back. The hammer my mom sold for $250, the guitar strap was $100 and the pucker toe mocs were also $100. I'm currently working on a girl's jingle beaded set which will be back barrette, hair band, choker and drop, hairties, purse, ring, bracelet, Mocs and leggings. Planning to have done by Crow Fair. Will post when finished.
