I've always made fully beaded purses on braintan but I wanna see if I can use a different material. Is there a type of fabric I can make fully beaded purse on?

I've used uplostery suede with a canvas backing. It's very durable.
It really all depends on what you plan to use the purse for. Is this for dancing or just for fun?Comment

about fully beaded purse
There is a waterproof pad sold by the yard at fabric stores,,it is like the pads used to put under babys when I was a kid. now you can get it by the yard. it is great to bead on, it does not fray.. GL

Would it be appropriate to wear a lazy stitched or appliquéd beaded belt? If so, should it be mounted on leather with borders of nickel spots, as with the usual loom beaded belt?04-02-2007, 10:38 AM -

that some southern buckskin dancers have fully beaded mocs and leggings now. Is it a new thing? I always thought they were suppose to be partialy beaded mocs and leggings.
