I am looking for ideas on how to make a peyote fan, is it the same as a flat fan or some thing different.

A flat fan is one type of fan that has some associations with the peyote movement/development etc...

What kind of fan do you use if you use one, tail, wing, or other?? I prefer using a tail fan, and I see lots of other jinglers using tail fans, and others using the wing fans. Which do you prefer and/or use?

and preferences on the feathers used to make them, i'm planing on using turkey tails.
