Gauntlet Gloves

Has anyone ever done a pair of gauntlet gloves??

I just did my first pair. They were a christmas gift for my husband.

The fingers were the hardest part. I absolutely hated turning the fingers!!:wall:

I used smoked buckskin. I thought that would have made everything a little easier!!

Anyone have any tips to share that will make my next pair a little easier??????

They are hard to do, did you bead the tops? Like you said, the fingers are the hardest, turning them.

Yes. The tops were beaded. That seemed to be the easiest part.

Something else happened to me on the fingers. For some reason my fingers are a little twisted, too. I don't know what could have happened there, either.

The pattern I have was from missouri river. There is an "M" shaped seam above the middle and ring finger. I want to find a pattern that does not have this "M" shaped seam. Does anyone know where I can find a pattern??
