  • help w/turkey tail bustle?

    can someone help me?I Have this complete turkey tail intact and fanned out and I wanna make a bustle out of it.It is a very beautiful tail and I don't wanna muck it up.I also don't know how it's supposed to attach to the body?I have some ideas but it might look cheezey if you know what I mean?Can someone PLEASE help me with any suggestions?

    I've never, in my life, seen a bustle made out of natural turkey feathers that I thought looked nice or even decent. They all look cheezy to me. My suggestion would be to use something else for your bustle. The only time turkey feathers look good on a bustle is when white or black turkey spikes are used on fancy dance hackle bustles. Other than that...not so much.
    I think everyone on this rez is addicted to Harry Potter...lol...

      what if you just tried making something traditional from it, or use it as a wall decoration?
