well I hate to admit it but I just finished my very first beaded head band it's about 1 inch thick and has a blue background withwhite and maroon stars in order. I'm going to redo it with about a 2" elastic band and a rosette. this is the longest beadwork i've done in my life and it was on the old wire loom. same one I've had since I started beading ....... about 6 years ago, I havn't been dancing that long though:p

Well, I finally finished the pair of beaded mocs I was working on. These are done with commercial deer hide uppers and rawhide soles. They are beaded in 12/0 czechs to match the pattern the gal had on her leggins.Attached FilesPB49

sorry I forgat to post on here.:p
I finished a pair of bells tuesday . they are #00 from crazy crow . sheep bells. they are the biggest I've ever worked with. I was going to use them for around my ankles , but with how clumsy I am I would have tripped over them my first try ... and I did. they were are supposed to be copper but turns out they are just nickel and painted but i'm alright with that, I like nickel better anyway I just wanted them for the size( i'm an idiot). I'll post a picture along with the porky roachi'm making as soon as I finish it, why waste film:p :dontknow:

by powwowbum49Well, as if I don't have enough other projects going right now I have decided to try my hand at silverwork. I have a ton of it that I need for new dance clothes for my family so I figured I should see if I am any good at it. I have been picking up a few tools and am waiting on some sheet metal to arrive...

by keelerHey all'
I'm just looking for some input. I have a few ?s reguarding roaches.
1. I noticed that the current trend seems to be longer is better. Is there a general consensus on prefered length for grass dancers?
2. I'm just getting back to the trail after several years of...-
