My breast plate is what I finished. I have been wanting to go all round for a few years. So I bought my items for my breast plate. I forgot how heavy they can be!! And some navy blue wool
"saved list" from Crazy Crow. I still am working on that. I think I'm more scard to cut it up. Too expensive to make a mistake. Eeek :Shocked
I also made my 3 year old daughter her 4th wing dress. I have to say it is more fun to make your children or neices and nephews regalia. Besides the fact its so adorable, but so much faster also.
I want to learn how to make a jingle dress. I'd rather do all my work insted of paying some one else to do it. Because I want to teach my daughter some day.

I just finished my oldest son's first bustle, which is also the first one I've made. Thanks for those of you who gave me a little advice along the way.
And I am starting to straighten feather's for my own this morning. I think the straightening is the worst part!!!! Brings back memories of pressing uniforms, except feathers take a lot longer to do. :ChatterThe things you are doing today are the traditions of twenty-five years from now.

When you make a reply to a post.. look below the box you type in and you'll see a small gray box with a button that says browse next to it. You can upload a pic from your files directly that way. If you have your pics stored somewhere online, then hit the IMG button above the comment box and put the URL to the pic in the extra box it will bring up when you click on it. All pics must be a certain size though. If you have trouble resizing.. you can always PM me and let me know and I'll resize them for you.Don't worry that it's not good enough for anyone else to hear... just sing, sing a song.sigpic

ok and here's my first tuscarora bird...now no one nitpick it.. like i said it's my first and no one taught me how to make it ok? I learned by looking at one of my grandmothers. I now know what mistakes I have made and will not make them next time.. still overall I thought it was'nt so bad for my first time.Attached FilesDon't worry that it's not good enough for anyone else to hear... just sing, sing a song.sigpic

by powwowbum49Well, as if I don't have enough other projects going right now I have decided to try my hand at silverwork. I have a ton of it that I need for new dance clothes for my family so I figured I should see if I am any good at it. I have been picking up a few tools and am waiting on some sheet metal to arrive...

by keelerHey all'
I'm just looking for some input. I have a few ?s reguarding roaches.
