I'm interested more in self determination than gender equity. In other words, changing white men for white woman in the structures of power, does nothing to transform the opression in my community.

SE, gorgeous fans... back in the fall, I collected dropped feathers from the migratory birds heading south (Canada and Snow geese etc)... been wanting to make a new fan and I'm stumped on the design for it... the feathers are all so pretty it's hard to decide how to best show them... I admire artists such as yourself that can do so much with something as simple as a feather.

                            • I made a bunch of these beaded cell phone cases for Christmas a few years ago. I don't think anybody uses them for their actual phone, but they keep them displayed in a prominent location.

Here's a dentalium set done with cut beads and rhinestones that I just finished up. Would like to sell it but haven't decided yet. This is the first one like this I've done.

Well, as if I don't have enough other projects going right now I have decided to try my hand at silverwork. I have a ton of it that I need for new dance clothes for my family so I figured I should see if I am any good at it. I have been picking up a few tools and am waiting on some sheet metal to arrive...
