LOL not that fast ! Been working on the cuffs awhile but really , just actual time.....maybe a week apiece....3 days apiece on the armbands. Still, you work fast! If I worked that fast, it would look like someone tried to finish something fast. Your work is all perfect too. How many hours a day do you spend beading on your average beading days? Somehow if you said you spent 18 hours a day beading it would make me feel better. Oooohhh , on a good day maybe 4 hours. sometimes if I'm in a groove maybe 6 , but that's rare ! We have a craft room set up and my wife and I ......well that's what we do now that I'm retired. She does earrings , bracelets , and beaded chokers and sometimes cell phone cases or baby mocs...I do small bags , breastplates , bone chokers....and regalia items...bustles , fans , leggins , mocs , cuffs armbands , dance sticks , etc. , etc.Originally posted by docat View Post

It is encouraging to see a finished product faster. I did do some work on a heddle which was faster...but not as fast as you work. Man, I wish I could move like you do! Your work is stellar!
You inspire me!!! Having a dedicated room you can go to for this work is a real plus...I have to pack mine up to go outside and then pack it up again to come inside.
I'm going to start keeping track of my time. I bet I fritter a lot of it away with distractions.Comment

I'm weaving in the bias now...making my teen daughter traditional hair ties. At the pace I'm going, they will be done in 3 months of steady work! Weaving in the bias WILL be slower necessarily (each bead is individually woven). But that's no excuse for my other work. I have a ton of it that I need for new dance clothes for my family so I figured I should see if I am any good at it.
