I haven't been posting......I also haven't been working on anything ! I did these last year and just now posted them. Been in a creative slump/(2year) winter depression. Hard to get back at it sometimes. I actually just re-soled a pair of mocs that have been almost 2 years waiting ! Sometimes life just doesn't cooperate with your best plans ! Anyway , I'm trying to get out of it and I have several projects I'm trying to get right ! Between the floods and mud and everything else that life throws at us, it's been a tough couple of years ! Someone I know is building a bustle and having trouble with the back board. These can be tricky the first time. My old ones were/are heavy duty and not made for breaking down easily , but the newer ones are fairly easy !
Also , I like using a round center in mine. That's also an option , some just tie a rosette or something just to keep the 2 sides apart. some folks call them spikes , I just call them uprights. It's what you tie your bustle feathers to. Some folks just tie to the wires , but I like to use old tent poles , cut down .
