drum group needs drum

I know a group of young men in western neb who want to start a drumgroup but they need a drum, they are willing to chip in $$$'s for a drum to start - its seems the neighborhood is scarce for something like this - they need their own, Any one know of any? um, let's see. from what i know, singers know how to make a drum or they have connections.

well, I know it sounds kind of out there but they are trying to do this themselves and there is not a lot of support where they live. That would be my way of getting something done-- by doing it myself, and I'm sure if they even knew I had dropped this line here they will probably say "SHE DID WHAT?" Anyway, they did get to sing and sounded pretty good and if you knew the whole story I think you might understand my trying to ask around. Thank you for answering....

They're not getting a whole lot of support like I said, and I don't know if its because no one in their family believes that they can do this, or the family is a afraid of the idea of what they want to accomplish, its rough I just hope they get the kind of support they need and then keep on singing and maybe getting good enough to sing at Oglala Nation. That would be good.

well then, you know what to do. take some tobacco to a headsinger of a drum and the rest is up to you.

I believe that if they are supposd to be a drum group , a drum will come to them! They will come up with the $ and the knowledge to build one, or one might be gifted to them!
