snaps on buckskin?

Does anybody use snaps on buckskin and if so, what type/kind? I've done a little research and line 24 snaps seem to be made for heavier leather, line 20? line 16?

Hrm, Ive used bum flaps to cover my hinneys curves in tight punker pants but they are always just attatched on. Booty flap on a buckskin tho? : Just go on and punk out a fanny pack tho, has more pockets


Now i know that toprevent top from sliding about on dress small holes can be made with small thhongs tying the 2 pieces together.

Now im curious about where snaps would be used?

JD snaps might work, but if thats all yah got holdin up a hide legging, well, i dunno, im a hard dancer, dance earringgs out all the time. I wouldnt trust it to keep me and my bare skin from everyone.

Now a button on the other hand.................. ^_^
Nice size button would work well. Plus snaps are metal, metals rusts and stains fabric. Especially when it gets sweaty

If I can stop laughing and quit imagining all the weirdo places y'all are putting snaps, I was going to suggest to match the gauge of the snaps to the thickness of the buckskin.
