I'm needing a few suggestions. I am working on a flat fan for my step dad (Cheyenne/Arapaho). I have only collected 4 eagle tail feathers.

Not sure if this would be the right place to post this or not but I can't think of where else to put it. One of my friends was given a feather that he was told was eagle. ok, i understand that feathers, especially from certain eagles are sacred for religious purposes. (some tribes??) my question is how or why is 'registration'(??} of each one tolerated or is that still done?? do the freds really have jurisdiction over religious ceremony on tribal lands?? is there a registration...05-04-2013, 01:44 AM
