I agree with Ron. It's a shame, it will more than likely end up that way.

But it is Very BEAUTIFUL, and so is the other one thats 50,000.

I don't think so...... Don't that Flute player look just like Tommy Ware? And the "Gourd Dancer" looks just like one of the lt. governors from Taos Pueblo.....

Dang, and at $150,000, somebody sure thinks a lot of their own work. My question is this..... if you ain't got no gallery rep - especially in Santa Fe - to sell this thing for you, how you gonna expect to get that kinda cash on e-bay?

Plus, that painting's kinda like "pack whatever kinda skins dressed in their gear all in one picture." Apache Ga'an dancers and Pueblo buffalo & eagle dancers don't have anything to do with powwows or vice versa..... more like somebody went camera happy at the Gallup Intertribal Ceremonial, like about a million other tourists. Plus, that's way sacreligious and disrespectful to be painting some other tribe's dieties like that (I'm specifically talking about the Ga'an). Is the painter supposed to be a skin? It says she went to IAIA, but dang, last I heard, the folks at IA educated their students about such issues.

Dang, my signature says it all.......

I'm glad the artist chose "LIVING NATIVE AMERICANS" rather than not-so-living ones.

They reposted and dropped the price to $125,000 And the bank told me they would only finance $100,000:Chatter

Str8Dancer49 you have some good points. Most of us just looked at that price tag!!!!!!!

one of us should SUE the artist for using our likeness and making a profit and not getting permission. ;)
