I was off the threads for a very long while to get my book finished and because I was a bit tired of some of the posts from individuals who like to flame everything on the site a while back. Also...I am old school on materials while everything is changing with all this "madigra" look. Don't know I fit into this new area.

But I still know my tipis!!!!!

hmmm... the only place I've seen tipis camped was at Vantage, WA.... I know there was a big event going on at the time... not sure what it was, but I think it may have been a powwow... it was several years ago.

Sounds like there aren't many using tipis anymore, doesn't it, Tipis Wastewin?
(hey I just noticed that you changed your username.... you did that some time back didn't you? )

I have noticed that there are fewer and fewer tipis at Powwows anymore. Has anyone else noticed this......? In the East particularly, there seems to be a big decline in tipis at dances.
