I think you pretty well covered it there!

How about hearing the first beat of the drum during grand entry & entering into the dance arena, prepared to dance your weekend away. Oh, and I forgot to add a good 49 with a lot of knowledgable singers around the drum who can keep people moving until the crack of dawn.......and lot's of Mt. Dew for me because I don't drink. :D

A big bowl of captain crunch and saturday morning cartoons...or it used to be that once upon a time... Now it is a bag of chips and cartoon network (Powerpuff girls) with my little girl. Ahhhh that is zen , especially if I have all the housework done and nothting to distract me.
Don't worry that it's not good enough for anyone else to hear... just sing, sing a song.sigpic

....nice cruises on some lovely scenic back road
.... 155mph blasts with my hair ablaze.....

how about...falling in love with someone so deeply that they drive you to write poetry...

waking up to all of your pets snuggled up to you in your bed...

hiking to the top of a really tough trail and looking out over the trees...

capturing a moment in a photograph that sticks with you for years...

"I want to be the toy in your cereal box
I want to be Carter at your peace talks
I want to get almost too familiar
But still notice the way that you walk"

sunrise ceremony on the first day of spring ceremonies after a loooong winter

the sound of my husband's voice

listening to my daughter laugh so hard she snorts

when my mom calls me her "pet name" for me

"chattin" on msn with my sister and its like we're in the same room

being cold in bed and moving over to my husband's side and finding it empty but still warm from his body heat

the first bit of steam in the sweat and the first beats of the drum when you think "here we go!"

                      Montana Forever!

Standing on the Great Divide looking across the mountain ranges with fluffy white clouds overhead and the feeling you could reach up and touch the heavens if you were on tippy toes!

A close second is driving across Eastern Washington, thru the scrub of the prairie through the palisades and the coulees imagining the cayuse ponies of my mother's ancestors racing across the wide open spaces long before anyone ever heard of the Grand Coulee Dam or I-90.

Ah yes EagleEyes....seeing an Eagle fly anywhere is a natural high and something I truely miss seeing. We do not have eagles over here on the islands. We have the E'wa which is a graceful, large bird but nothing like the eagles.
