  • Help..........

I have 2 people graduating tonight at 7p. I need to bead 2 feathers for their graduation caps.

I was going to use the peyote stitch. But thought the feathers might also look very nice if I used the method where you wrap beads. It is something similar to what would be used on an awl case.

Does anyone know exactly how this method is done??

    I appreciate any help.

    Hi!
    It is very simple!
You cover the subject you want to be wrapped with buckskin.
Then you start at one end with your thread (making a knot).
Pick up some beads (no longer than a few centimeters) and lead the needle back through the leather and through the last few beads.
Then you pick up the beads again and do the same over and over, until it is covered.
If you need more help take a look on my website http://members.kabsi.at/selina or contact me.
    Hope I could help
