Good enough! Just wanted to warn you, I hadnt thought of that detail when I attempted to do something on a curve like that and it was a pain.

If careful selection of your bead size doesnt give you enough space you can always add in an extra partial row.....

Oh yeah, I have thought about the parital row! But we do get those really skinny beads... gotta use them somewhere! :)

I know a woman who throws out all her odd size beads, such a waste!

Randy are you using gourd stitch or the two drop peyote? I found that beading a ring like for a dreamcatcher works just fine if I use a 2 drop peyote...but is easier the larger the ring.

There are times I have to use a cane, I have three or four .... none of them plain, but none as gorgeous as yours either! The one I get the most laughs out of is NEON PINK, it used to be a crook over 6 ft long, and they thought it would be a joke to cut it off and give it to me for a cane, NOPE my favorite color... plus I don't have to worry about ruining it.

I can't bead ..... nor can I imagine having the patience to do what you have done .... as I said, simply gorgeous!!

I have a small cane I got at the second hand store, (my favorite place to shop) :) the cane is so tiny, and very old, I have not had the heart to consider beading on it yet...

Keely I was looking at that you cane again (couldn't help myself) and I like the yellow, orange and red at the bottom!!!!! I really do hope you leave it instead of ripping it out.

Nope I started it in brick stitch. I havent tried to do a ring with a peyote stitch before. The ring is also a little on the small side. Its about 4 inches in diameter. Its an old plastic macreme hoop so the material is about 1/2 inch in diameter.

I'm trying to work my way through all of the projects I have started but not finished. The vest is first on my list.... ;)

Randy, I have made a few dreamcatchers using the wire hoops you get at Walmart, the 3 inch are perfect for hanging in the car. I wrapp mine with leather thong once all the way around. I've done a few where I added a layer of felt in a few places and did one drop peyote. Didn't turn out too bad. I've been considering doing one beaded all the way around.

Seriously .. you have done an excellent job! And thanks for sharing the history behind the cane too! I love hearing stories of how this project was picked or the pattern.. colors... I always try to have a reason behind what I do, so I love to hear when others do too.
