    The dresses themselves tell where they are from LOL. The raised beading technique was first done by the tuscaroras and the mohawk... the more distinct style between them all is the tuscarora flower and the clear super heavy beading on red velvet. In the beaded birds, it is distinquished that the mohawk birds wings lay flat on it's back while the tuscaroras are on the side and point upwards. Nowadays though, all 6 nations do the raised style. I like that, one more thing that bonds us all together!

    at the new clinic down here that got some really super pretty raised bead work done by some of tha elders... its really nice & a lot of the oneida gurls alwayz have raised beading on their dresses to show what tribe there from (know what i mean) and alot of the familys got their own desighns with the raised beading...

    I did the raised beadwork a few years back when I won my second princess title. I actually like doing that type of beadwork. It's kind of a change.
