SARNIA DRUM CONTEST
Here Are the drum winners:

2. Snake Island
3. Beshkaabi
4. Poplar Singers
Consolations:
High Spirit
weengushk
and some little guys from the island
Overall the singing was prety good, not a bad contest as far as Im concerned. Would have been nice to see some different drums come around, maybe next year eh?True to my word.

I would like to inform everyone that August 5,6,7,8 is Menominee's contest pow wow. They have a drum contest of $5,000.00 for first place and a special drum contest this year Honoring Louie Sheridan Sr. for $2,000.00 winner take all. That's $7,000.00 for the champions.
