I was just wondering if there is a need for these powwow committees to expand their knowledge of drum groups who are willing to travel and attend their powwows.     What do you think about drums who show up for contest or split money when they arent really that great?

    Not that I am any better, but when 40 drums show up to a powwow and some of them are...

    Come on there's nothing wrong with a little friendly competition among drum groups. After all most of all groups know and get along pretty well with eachother. There may be some exceptions but that just adds to the contest. Now I don't want to hear from you winer's about how "real powwow singing...
