Did you find them okay to deal with?
They say "Friendly Manitoba" but I think it's "Friendly Sometimes Manitoba"! Hee Hee!
Let me know how it turns out, okay?

Hey Ace
Glad to hear that there's going to be another group make a CD.
I have a suggestion and I must tell you that I've never worked with them (Tree has) I've just purchased the tapes and Cd's they distribute. The company is called Sunshine Records out of Winnipeg Manitoba. (That's in Canada, eh)
Some local boys from around where my family is from just put a CD out with this company (Slow Hand). Check out the website, probably have more info for you than me.
Good luck!

Best Recording Companies for Native Music
Hey kiddies!!
I am working with some singers who want to get a tape or CD out. Northern. Who is the best company to contact to get their tape made, produced and distributed??
Also, what companies are the best to record Native contemporary singing groups, like R&B, Country, Rock and the like.
We have a few companies that we are considering working with, but I'd like to hear basically the ones you prefer and the ones to stay away from.
Thanks.
Smokin' Ace

Hey you guys...lol..so i got a problem with ndn music these days. I am not sure to buy and support a drum group's cd or a powwow cd because of some examples like, the drum sounds like cardboard, the announcer talks too much thru the song, or some songs sound like another someone's song just switched...
