how little you know of us CHIEF.....the kiowa lived amongst the taos at one time.....the hoop dance came from taos youths watching early fancy dancers......yes taos straight dance just as some southern plains tribes now have thier own version of eagle dance.......if your so particular about being a purist maybe you shouldnt enjoy a round dance then.........done with you....good bye
